I'm not sure why it's taken me until August to blog any wedding galleries from this year but putting that fact aside, I just HAD to share Cody + Jessica's special love day. It was a hot August Saturday which was to be expected, but everything flowed so beautifully. From watching Jessica calmly get ready in the house on the property, to Cody anxiously push through the ceremony so he could kiss his beautiful bride. One of the things I love the most are the speeches because not only are the showered with endless love even more, but it gives me their perspective of their relationship from their closest people, and it's always so enlightening. Knowing the road that each couple journeys down to get to this day is just so beautiful. Plus, they went as far as to bring a food truck on site for their late night snackers and I was extremely pumped about that! Please enjoy a look into their Holly, MI wedding <3
Last year was filled with so much love and this year is set up to capture even more love stories. Today, I celebrate 10 years with my person. Here's to you and yours <3
This past summer I had the incredible experience of being a part of my best friend's senior project. It focused on women loving themselves by accepting all parts of them and embracing their uniqueness. I met so many STRONG women. It was absolutely inspiring being surrounded by so much positivity. I was able to provide many, many images to all of them that they now have to look at if they are ever experiencing self doubt. I truly wish I would have done this shoot myself, but I came out with a full experience myself. All props go to my dearest, Ashley Beeker, for organizing and sharing her vision with all of us. Below are only a few of my favorite images from our self love session <3 These are always available, if you're interested - please reach out!
Ended my 2017 wedding season on New Year's Eve with such BEAUTY! The day brought Jake and Marissa together with their closest friends and family and it was such a wonderful day. The weather was extremely cold but we were able to catch the last bit of sunset after the ceremony. The details were beautiful and the room was just overflowing with love. I photographed one of Jake's cousin + one of Marissa's cousin's wedding and was able to see many familiar faces from past weddings. It was definitely a celebration to remember! Here's to Jake + Marissa bringing in the new year, every year, together <3

Happy 2018, everybody! I was really bad at blogging last year...I started off well then I got really busy and stopped. Hopefully I get back around to blogging those weddings and engagements. I had SO many good ones last year. For now...here is my first session of 2018. A beautiful, snowy, dreamy engagement session!
This day could not have been more perfect! We shot on a Monday and I drove well over an hour in snowy weather to meet Mike & Jenn at their home. We started at a beautiful trail by their house with their beloved 9 month old fur baby, Kensie. We continued on to downtown Lake Orion and explored various spots. The snow on the trees and the fact that it was snowing during most of their session was nothing short of a winter engagement dream. Normally, I would take credit for the coffee shop idea but that was all Mike and as a photog I give him so much credit. It was the perfect spot to end our session and warm up. They treated me to a delicious latte at A Bean to Go while I continued to photograph their love. I could not be more excited for their upcoming wedding! Congratulations to these two! Check out some of my favorites!
